FIRST carbon brake bridge out of a pretty snazzy mold.  I have  become mildly obsessed with designing things in a CAD program for modeling 3d solids.  Now, when I lye awake at night dreaming of nifty things I could build out of carbon fiber, I simply design it and pass it on to the machinist.  I do not want to be limited to building up carbon bikes with wishbone stays, hence the carbon bridge.  Lately my machinist has brought his A-game, and we are on a roll pumping out several of the molds I have been designing, and the list is long.   Up next will be some drop outs, I cannot wait to show them off.  Out of curiosity I weighed the bridge in comparison to a steel bridge of similar proportions, the carbon bridge is 5 grams and the steel bridge was 25 grams.  Hope to try it on some bikes in March, should look and ride real good with some 14mm stays.

We are only a short drive to Jackson Hole so we know this range well.  When Jeff asked for a custom TI bike to be built with the teton range etched in the tubing I was excited to build it for him.  Here are a few pics of Jeff’s build.  I think it turned out just how he imagined.
